Bryan Cranston currently stars in the crime drama Your Honor on Showtime, and although the series received mixed reactions from viewers, the actor received notable praise for his performance on the show. The first season ranks as the first season ever on the network, and even though the show was criticized for its close resemblance to other top programs, a second season was inevitable. Unfortunately, Deadline reports that the highly anticipated second installment of the series has been pushed back from its mid-December release date to January 2023.

The decision behind the delay of season two would be a matter of timing. Due to the serialized nature of the show, Showtime wanted to avoid potential disruptions caused by holiday programming so that viewers could watch the series week after week. That being said, breaking Bad former Bryan Cranston set to return in second season of Your Honor streaming Friday, January 13, 2023 and Sunday, January 15 at 9 p.m. for viewers planning to watch the show on air.

For In Your Honor, Bryan Cranston stars as a New Orleans judge who is forced to face his own deepest convictions when his son becomes embroiled in a hit-and-run that involves an organized crime family. As a wave of lies, revenge and deceit threatens to overwhelm the entire town, Cranston’s Michael Desiato faces a series of increasingly impossible decisions and learns how far a truthful man will go to save his son’s life. . The first season of the series premiered on December 6.e2020 and concluded on February 14e2021.

In addition to Bryan Cranston, Your Honor stars Hope Davis, Isiah Whitlock Jr., Amy Landecker, Keith Machekanyanga, Margo Martindale, Andrene Ward-Hammond, Michael Stuhlbarg and Hunter Doohan. The show was created by Peter Moffat, who also designed the hit series Sheltered. Emmy nominees Robert and Michelle King (The good fight, The good wife, Bad) is producing the original Showtime series, with Joey Hartstone serving as showrunner and executive producer.

Bryan Cranston is also producing the series alongside James Degus for Moonshot Entertainment. Your Honor is produced by CBS Studios in association with King Size Productions. Other executive producers include Danna Stern, Rob Golenberg, Alon Aranya, Ram Landes, Ron Eilon, and Alon Aranya.

Although critical and public reception for Your Honor was mixed, the series won several awards, including the British Society of Cinematographer’s Award for Television Drama and the International Sound & Film Music Festival award for Best Original Score, Series or Limited Series. Additionally, Bryan Cranston received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Performance by an Actor in a Limited Series, Anthology Series or Motion Picture Made for Television.

Currently, Your Honor holds a 50% review score on review aggregation website Rotten Tomatoes based on 50 reviews. Audience reception for the series is slightly better with a fresh rating of 66%. Hopefully the upcoming second season can elevate the series to new heights and serve as another critically acclaimed show for Bryan Cranston to add to his already impressive resume.
