COVID infection rates continue to rise in Kent, according to the latest data.

Sevenoaks, which recorded 710 cases last week, remains the most infected area.

It also saw the largest increase on a week-over-week basis, with an infection rate dropping from 419.3 to 584.9.

Its case rate is well above the UK average (482.9), with Tunbridge Wells (538.9) also exceeding the average.

Infections have skyrocketed in all districts of Kent except Dover – where the rate has remained the same (255.7).

Folkestone and Hythe is the least infected area in the county, with a rate of 225.0.

A total of 6,831 cases of COVID have been recorded in Kent in a week.
