Coronavirus infection rates continue to skyrocket across the county, with four areas of Kent beating England’s average.
Dover is the only district where the spread of COVID has slowed, but the number of new cases has fallen by only about 2%.
The region’s infection rate fell from 264.1 to 258.2, after registering 306 new cases in the seven days to October 21.

Infections in the district increased by more than 40%, from 449.8 to 639.
The transmission rate is significantly higher than the UK average, which currently stands at 488.5.
Dartford, Maidstone and Tunbridge and Malling also have above average rates in England.
Folkestone and Hythe remain the least infected area in Kent, at 245.3.
A total of 6,506 cases of COVID were recorded in the most recent week.
