The death was of Patricia Doherty (Oregan) (née Monagle), New Road, Carndonagh.

Her body rests at her home from 5 p.m. tonight.

Funeral leaving from there on Tuesday at 10.30am at Sacred Heart Church, Carndonagh for the Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial then in the adjoining cemetery.

Family time from 10 p.m. to 10 a.m., private house the morning of the funeral. Family flowers only, donations instead of Carndonagh Community Hospital.

Hugh Doherty (Clarke), Letterkenny

The peaceful death took place at Donegal Hospice Letterkenny on Saturday 5th November 2022 of Hugh Doherty (Clarke), 22 Ashbrook, Letterkenny and formerly Iconic Flowers, Carnamuggagh, Letterkenny and Desertegney, Buncrana. Predeceased by his parents Liz and Joe. He is deeply missed by his brother Denis, his sisters Mary and Helen, his uncle Eddie Doherty (USA), his cousins, his neighbors and his friends.

Hugh’s remains will be laid to rest at the Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny from 5-8pm on Sunday 6th November and 3.30-4.30pm on Monday 7th November with transfer to Star of the Sea Church, Desertegney arriving around 5.45pm . pm at rest overnight.

Requiem Mass on Tuesday, November 8 at 11 a.m. with subsequent burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Danny (Dan) Bennis, Letterkenny

The peaceful death took place at Letterkenny University Hospital on Saturday 5th November 2022 of Danny (Dan) Bennis, 32 Willowbrook, Glencar, Letterkenny, HSE retiree.

Predeceased by his parents John and Eileen, Limerick City. His beloved wife Jacinta, his daughters Orlaith and Fiona, his brothers Gerard, John, Frank and Joe and his sister Anne, Limerick, his brothers-in-law, his sisters-in-law, his nieces, his nephews and a wide circle of family deeply missed, friends and neighbours.

Danny’s remains will be laid to rest at the Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny on Monday 7th November from 5.30pm to 7pm with transfer to the Irish Martyrs Church, Letterkenny for overnight rest.

Requiem Mass on Tuesday, November 8 at 11 a.m. with private cremation to take place later.

The death took place at Eddie Kelly’s Letterkenny University Hospital, Glentoskert, Glengad, Malin.

The move took place from Liam Collins Funeral Premises, Culdaff to his home.

Funeral from there on Tuesday, November 8 at 10:15 a.m. for the 11 a.m. Requiem Mass at St. Mary’s Church, Lagg, Malin. Followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Family time please from 11 p.m. to 10 a.m. Private home to the family only on the morning of the funeral.

Liam Collins, Letterkenny

The death was of Liam Collins, formerly of Ard O’Donnell and Rosemount, Letterkenny. He is sadly missed by his daughters Donna and Jacqui and their mother Bridie, his brothers Charlie and Martin, his sons-in-law Kevin and Shane, his grandchildren Cassie, Maisie, Sarah and Grace and all of his extended family.

Resting at his daughter Donna’s residence at 45 Glendale Manor, Glencar, Letterkenny today, Sunday, November 6, until 10 p.m.

Death occurred of Seamus Gallen, late of Albert Terrace, Lifford.

Beloved husband of the late Monica and brother of Eugene, Bebe, Ann and of the late Betty, Mary, George, Michael, Dessie, Gretta, Stan, Cecilia, Colum and Gertie.

Resting at his niece Fiona Robb, 42 Clonleigh Park, Lifford.

Funeral leaving his niece’s home on Monday 7th November at 10.20am for Requiem Mass at St Patrick’s Church, Murlog, Lifford at 11am. Burial then in the adjoining cemetery.

Deeply missed by his grieving brother, sisters, nieces, nephews and entourage.

John L. McNulty Rathgar, Dublin/St Johnston

Death occurred of John L. McNulty Rathgar, Dublin/St Johnston,
Born in St Johnston, son of Tommy and Annie McNulty, he died suddenly but peacefully at his family home.
Loved and cherished by his wife Jenny (King), his four sons: Mark, Michael, Johnny and Tom, his young grandson Oscar and his siblings: Rosemary, Eunan (deceased), Brendan, Paul, Gabriel and Tracy. He will be greatly missed by all of the extended family and his wide circle of friends.
Rest in his family home.
His funeral will take place on Monday November 7 at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of the Holy Cross in Dundrum. Interment then in Kilternan Cemetery Park.

An tAthair Cathal Ó Gallchóir, Tyler, Minnesota / Gaoth Dobhair

The sudden death of a tAthair Cathal Ó Gallchóir at his home in Tyler, Minnesota on Sunday, October 30. He is survived by his seven brothers and two sisters, as well as their families.
Predeceased by his parents Johnny Sheáin, and Mary, his sisters Méabha and Máiréad, his nieces Sinéad and Fionnuala and his brother-in-law Pat Munnelly.
He will be sadly missed by his many friends in Ireland, Japan and the United States, especially his colleague and dear friend, Father Jim Callahan (Worthington, Minnesota).
Arrangements for his funeral at Gaoth Dobhair will follow.
