DOVER – The Dover Arts Commission, with the help of the Greater Dover and Dover Main Street Chamber of Commerce, is soliciting artists and businesses to present works of art in Dover as part of the Art Beat program of the Arts Commission.

The Arts Commission seeks to encourage local businesses to exhibit local art and provide artists with alternative exhibition venues other than art galleries or themed exhibitions in galleries. The Art Beat program also offers the public more opportunities to view works of art and to support the artistic community.

Current Art Beat artist Paige Foster is exhibiting her paintings in the customer waiting room at Dupont’s service center until early October.

“I am extremely grateful and excited for this opportunity to give back to my community through my art, even if it is only to add color to someone’s bad day or to gift someone else. an escape from our reality by imagining its own interpretations of my work, “said Foster in his artist statement.” Thanks to Michael Lee, Dave Dupont and Dover Arts Commission for this wonderful opportunity. I am completely humbled by to have been chosen.
