COVID infection rates continue to rise in the majority of districts in Kent, according to the latest figures.
Tunbridge Wells has the highest rate in Kent, with 523 new cases in the seven days to September 25 – the equivalent of 439.7 per 100,000 people.
This is a significant increase from 331.3 in seven days to September 18.

COVID rates have also risen sharply in areas such as Tonbridge and Malling, Sevenoaks and Maidstone.

301 (80 percent) of local areas in England saw a week-over-week increase, bringing the average infection rate to 330.
Three regions of Kent – Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge and Malling and Sevenoaks – remain above average.
Meanwhile, Canterbury, Swale and Thanet are among the 10 least infected areas in the country.
A total of 4,467 cases of COVID have been reported in Kent in the past seven days.
