COVID infection rates are on the rise in the majority of districts in Kent, according to the latest figures.
Nine of the 13 districts saw a week-over-week increase in the seven days leading up to September 24.
In total, rates rose in 306 (81%) of the UK’s 377 local areas.

Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge and Malling and Sevenoaks have rates above the UK average, which currently stands at 324.7.

Tonbridge and Malling saw the biggest increase on a week-over-week basis, seeing its infection rate increase by more than 40%, compared to 273.8 to 391.5.
Folkestone and Hythe, Gravesham, Swale and Thanet are the only areas in Kent where rates have come down.
Thanet (120.9) and Swale (121.8) are among the least infected areas in the country.
A total of 4,417 COVID cases have been recorded in Kent in the last seven-day period.
