More than 20 Kent companies have been ordered to clean up in food hygiene assessments released this year.
Thousands of premises across the county are assessed by the Food Standards Agency, based on the findings of local authority inspectors, who work year round.
The hygiene standards observed at the time of the inspection are then noted on a scale.

Five is the top of the scale, which means the hygiene standards are very good and fully compliant with the law.
Zero is at the bottom of the scale, which means urgent improvement is needed.
