“Strictly Come Dancing” judge Craig Revel Horwood has announced his first solo tour and will be heading to the UK next year

Craig Revel Horwood embarks on his very first solo tour.

The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ judge will host his one-man road show next spring, and it will cover most of England as well as a date in Wales.

During the evening, Craig will talk about his life, from his childhood in Australia to his career as a dancer and choreographer on London’s West Wend, in his place on the jury of the BBC’s ballroom show, where he sits. alongside Bruno Tonioli, Shirley Ballas and Motsi Mabuse.

He will also unveil a slew of behind-the-scenes gossip and perform some of the music that formed the soundtrack of his career.

After performing in productions of “West Side Story” and “La Cage Aux Folles” in his native country, Craig moved to Europe and joined Lido Du Paris as a dancer.

Craig went on to become the lead singer of the famous Moulin Rouge in Paris before moving to the UK a year later as part of the “Cats” tour and taking his place on the “Strictly Come Dancing” panel.

His transition from dancer to choreographer proved to be a huge success and earned him a nomination for an Olivier Award for the West End productions of “Spend Spend Spend” and “My One and Only”.

He went on to win numerous credits as a director / choreographer for shows such as the UK tour of “Sister Act” to the film “Paddington 2”.

He continues to perform on stage, with 10 years in pantomime as well as the role of Miss Hannigan in ‘Annie’.
