Narrative: The Dover Police Department arrested Nasir Ray, 20, of Edgewater Park, NJ, and a 17-year-old man, also of Edgewater, NJ, following a vehicle chase early Friday morning. The investigation began when Dover Police were notified by Edgewater Police Service of a stolen vehicle which was being actively tracked in the Royal Farms area. Officers responded to the area and located the vehicle, a 2023 Hyundai Elantra, with New York registration and attempted to stop the vehicle. The vehicle did not stop and officers began a pursuit. The vehicle chase ended in the 300 block of Northdown Drive, Dover, DE when three occupants fled the vehicle on foot. After a K-9 lead, Ray and the 17-year-old man were arrested without incident. The driver, described as a black man wearing a gray hoodie, has not been located and his identity is currently unknown. The suspects were taken to Dover Police and arraigned at JP#7.

Both suspects were posted on $2,000 bond for the following charges:
-Resisting Arrest
– Obstruction of prosecution
