Story:

Dover Police Department arrested two suspects following a vehicle chase on Tuesday afternoon. Officers from the Drugs, Vice and Organized Crime Unit received information that a suspect (Cody Fulton, 26) was staying at a residence at Dover East Mobile Home Park on S. Little Creek Road. Fulton was wanted by Baltimore County police for attempted homicide stemming from an incident in November 2021. Officers conducted a lookout and observed a gold Honda Accord from the 100 block S Highway residence. DuPont which was occupied by two male suspects. . Officers attempted to stop the vehicle in the area of ​​Fork Branch Road and N. DuPont Highway and the suspects fled. Officers pursued the vehicle down Fork Branch Road to Pearsons Corner Road, then through the town of Cheswold, and finally to a dead end in the Holly Hills Mobile Home Park in Smyrna where the two suspects were arrested without further incident.

During a search of the vehicle, the following items were found:

-9mm handgun (reported stolen in Columbia, SC)

-7.6 grams of Fentanyl

-12 grams of crack

-161 doses of Oxycodone

Cody Fulton was incarcerated at SCI on $287,500 cash bond for the following offences:

-Possession with intent to deliver fentanyl
– Possession of Fentanyl
-Possession with intent to deliver crack
-possession of crack
-Possession with intent to deliver oxycodone
– Possession of oxycodone
-Drug paraphernalia
-Receive stolen goods
-Possession of a firearm/ammunition by a prohibited person (4x)
-Carrying a concealed deadly weapon
– 2nd degree conspiracy
-Disregard the police officer’s signal
-Several traffic offenses

Hirsi Abdul Budul (passenger) was held at SCI on $88,000 cash bond for the following offences:
-Possession with intent to deliver fentanyl
– Possession of Fentanyl
-Possession with intent to deliver crack
-possession of crack
-Possession with intent to deliver oxycodone
– Possession of oxycodone
-Drug paraphernalia
-Receive stolen goods
-Possession of a firearm/ammunition by a prohibited person (4x)
-Carrying a concealed deadly weapon
– 2nd degree conspiracy
