The shares of Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. slipped 0.23% to Rs 303.75 in Tuesday trading at 11:58 am (IST). It hit a high of Rs 314.4 and a low of Rs 302.4 during the session.

The stock traded for a 52-week high price of Rs 362.85 and a low of Rs 166.8. The stock’s return on equity was 7.92 percent. About 481,622 shares have changed hands on the counter so far.

The stock’s beta value, which measures its volatility relative to the overall market, was 0.98.

The script has outperformed, up 72.01 percent in the past year from a 50.04 percent gain in Sensex.


On technical charts, the stock’s 200-day moving average (DMA) stood at Rs 166.8 on October 26, while the 50-DMA was at Rs 249.32. If a stock is trading well above 50-DMA and 200-DMA, it usually means that the immediate trend is up. On the other hand, if the stock is trading well below 50-DMA and 200-DMA at a time, it is considered a downtrend and if it is trading between these averages, it suggests that the stock may go both ways.

Promoter / FII Holding

The promoters held 0.22% of the capital of Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. until September 30, 2021. Mutual funds and foreign institutional investors held 7.26 percent and 57.18 percent of the capital.
